Slimbox : An awesome lightweight 'lightbox' effect for Blogger blog

I am going to tell you about "slimbox" and how you will install it in your Blogger blog.

Before some day i was exploring for a good lightbox to apply it in this blog and i just found one, "lytebox". But after some time i realize that i have some problem with it because of it's size and some time it does not work properly. 'lytebox.js' is about 96 KB and lytebox.css is about 14 KB and total is about 110 KB, that is a big deal for those who wants their website to load faster.
So i decided to get some other lightbox effect with less size and better performance and today i just found "SLIMBOX".

The thing I just love about "Slimblox" is it's size, Here 'slimbox2.js' is unbelievably about 4 KB and 'slimbox2.css' is about 1 KB. Don't be shocked, it really is. I am using it in my blog. It looks beautiful more than 'lytebox' and It load faster. I think performance can not be better than it has. It may also be use for image group as well as single image (See the demo below).

    }
STEP 4 : Click 'Save Template'.

STEP 5 : Click on 'Setting' then 'Post and Comments' Now select 'NO' for 'Showcase images with Lightbox '. And click 'Save Settings'.

Some important tips:

1 -- To activate "lightbox" for particular image, you have to add rel="lightbox" to each image. first write your post in post editor in blogger and click on 'HTML' button.

Then just before href of image add rel="lightbox", for example :

After click on 'HTML' button in post editor your image code will looks like:

And after adding rel="lightbox" to this code your code looks like:

And now save your post. And you are done.

2 -- If you want to make a group of images in a post then you have to add rel="lightbox-GROUPNAME" before each image code that you want in a group like above. write your group name at place of GROUP NAME.

3 -- If you want to activate 'Slimbox' effect automatically to all of your post in blogger. Then just simply paste below code before
in your template.

Now you don't need to add rel="lightbox" before each image code. Simply write your post and publish and your all image in a post will open with 'Slimbox' effect.
For more detail go to developer website.

Poonam Pandey's 'Nasha' is going to be release on July 26

Model turned actress Poonam Pandey's erotica 'Nasha' is all set for a July 26 release.
The trailer of controversial model Poonam Pandey's debut film 'Nasha' will be launched in the first week of June and the erotica is set for a July release, says director Amit Saxena.

"The film is ready and we are planning to have the trailer launch in the first week of June. The film is set for a July 26 release," Saxena told us.

This is not the first time that Saxena has wielded the megaphone for a bold film. In 2003, he wore the director's hat to make Bipasha Basu and John Abraham starrer erotic thriller 'Jism'.

If 'Jism' was about a stormy affair between a Casonova lawyer and a married woman, 'Nasha' is a passionate love story between an 18-year-old boy and a 25-year-old girl.

"Yes, it's a bold film, but it's basically a simple love story. It's a very different subject and Poonam has done a great job in the film," said Saxena.

For the role, Poonam, 22, apparently gave up her disciplined diet routine and gorged on junk food to gain weight.

The model made headlines during 2011 Cricket World Cup when she offered to go nude before Team India if they won the trophy.

'Nasha' has been produced by Aditya Bhatia.

Review : Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani [Nice Timepass]

A dynamic or a sedentary life? The daily dal-chawal or the scrumptious tangri kabab? Chasing dreams or letting go of them?

Director Ayan Mukerji’s second outing at the Box Office, after ‘Wake Up Sid’, is light, frothy at the primary level – and delves somewhat into the deeper recesses of human emotions at the secondary level. However, one thing emerges tall – ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ is an extremely pleasant watch.

Kabir aka Bunny (Ranbir Kapoor) is a youngster who craves for speed and craziness in his life. In his trajectory, he is occasionally aided along by his father (Farooq Sheikh) and mildly chided by step-mother (Tanvi Azmi) at others. Bunny, along with Abhi (Aditya Roy Kapur) and Aditi (Kalki Koechlin), his best friends, plans a trekking trip to Manali.

Naina (Deepika Padukone) – a medical student who doesn’t know the meaning of ‘fun’ in the conventional sense of the term, runs out of home and hops on to the train that’s on its way to Manali – and meets Kabir on the same. All of them, meanwhile, were classmates in school.

The trip to Manali turns out to be a frisky, lovable one and all of them part ways and go off to pursue their own dreams. Eight years later, destiny places four of these youngsters in each others’ paths yet again. Several lessons are learnt, many moments are lived up to the hilt and all of these are what ‘Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani’ consists of.

V Maniknandan’s cinematography deserves a standing ovation. He captures Manali in all its brilliance and more; with shots of the snow-capped mountains being the icing on the cake (the mountains, maybe)!

As far as the story is concerned, Ayan Mukerji’s second attempt is a decent enough one. ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ is brilliant in its moments – disjointed ones, at that. The one, for example, when Bunny and Naina shout from the top of the ‘haunted peak’ deserves a pat on the back. The candid father-son moments between Farooq Sheikh and Ranbir Kapoor, too, melt the heart. However, the screenplay takes a turn towards being predictable in the latter half of the film. There aren’t many twists – not any, for that matter – and one might feel one’s attention swaying after a point of time. Somewhat crisper editing could have saved the film from lagging in the bits where it does.

Whatever technical drawbacks there might have been, are all aptly overshadowed by the brilliant cast. Ranbir Kapoor clinches it – this time too! While his last at the BO saw him as the deaf and mute ‘Barfi!’, Kapoor makes up for the minutes spent not talking in this one – he is funny, focused, flirtatious and miles away from what he had been in Mukherji’s last film – ‘Wake Up Sid’. Deepika Padukone – apart from her style of dialogue delivery (which, by now, we’ve learnt to live with) – plays a commendable part as Naina. The leggy lass ably pulls off the transformation from the geeky girl-next-door to the sexy saree-clad, waist-baring woman.

Aditya Roy Kapur, after ‘Aashiqui 2’, proves his prowess yet again. However, I sincerely wish he wouldn’t be seen drowning in alcohol in his next film! Jokes apart, as Abhi, Aditya performs really well. Kalki Koechlin infuses ample amount of life into her ditzy, bubbly role as Aditi. The supporting cast – Farooq Sheikh, Tanvi Azmi, Kunal Roy Kapur, Dolly Ahluwalia – all seem suited to play their parts.

Pritam’s music is peppy and melodious. The songs all do their bit of fighting for that space in your long-term memory – and one is expected to hum ‘Balam Pichkari’ on their way to the exit gates – I daresay! The graceful Madhuri Dixit charms with her ‘Ghagra’ and leaves people applauding her dancing skills yet again!

In a nutshell, ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ is no heavy or preachy business. It is meant to be enjoyed and it does its job well. Apart from a few parts where the pace of the film drops badly, Ayan Mukherji’s handiwork is a breezy, enjoyable one. Three stars for this!

Vishwaroopam 2 is being shot in Bangkok

"Vishwaroopam 2", the sequel to Kamal Haasan's "Vishwaroopam" is being shot in Thailand, and the team even shot scenes at the Bangkok airbase, reveals actor-filmmaker Shekhar Kapur.

"Filming 'Vishwaroopam 2' at Bangkok airbase. Complex camera rigging for action sequence," Kapur posted on his Twitter page along with a picture depicting a busy scene with several crew members surrounding an aircraft. The sky looks bright and blue.

Kapur also posted another photograph clicked from perhaps below the aircraft's nose cone. "Interesting angle? 'Vishwaroopam 2' filming at Bangkok airbase," he added.

Directed and produced by Kamal, "Vishwaroopam", was a bilingual espionage thriller made at a budget of Rs.95 crore.
